Career Break Story: Wandering Through Africa on Faith with Lerato Mogoatlhe

Season #1 Episode #25

My guest today is Lerato Mogoatlhe. She is a travel writer and author of the pioneering travel memoir, Vagabond: wandering through Africa on faith. In this episode Lerato shares her story about how her 4 day trip to Accra, Ghana turned into a 3 month stint in West Africa and ultimately five years of living and traveling around the continent.

Her stories and perspective are nothing short of incredible and inspiring. She also found herself faced with one of the biggest fears travelers have: no money. Lerato shares her positive outlook, her trust in strangers, and the way you need to open yourself up to the environment you're in. I know you will be just as delighted with this episode as I am!
